Chris Brown’s Career Is Ova

Monday, November 9th, 2009

After watching the full Rihanna interview this past Friday,I think its safe to assume Chris Brown’s career is officially ova.

For a second there,it looked like he could actually make a come back from chrianna-gate because dude is actually talented and he has apologised like a million times but with the way Rihanna laid out all their business in that 20/20 interview,it would be wise for Chris Brown to seek out a career in another industry.I hope he saved up some money and invested it wisely.

The sad thing is he made one mistake and regardless of what he does from this point on,he will forever be remembered for the worst thing he ever did — assuming Chriannagate is the worst thing he’s done that is.

By the way,if you’re on Team Rihanna, her album drops November 23rd and if you’re riding hard for Team Chris Brown, his album drops December 15th.

Rihanna doesn’t hate Chris Brown

Friday, November 6th, 2009

I know y’all are in Rihanna and Chris Brown overload mode this week but its all going to end soon — well,as soon as they both drop their albums and stop doing the talk show promotion rounds…so give it about a month or so.

Anyway,in today’s clip on Good Morning America,Rihanna was asked if she hates Chris Brown and her answer was no,she doesn’t hate him.I’m sure the bloggers are going to have alot to say about that. What I found interesting is she referred to their love as a kind of “obsession”.Now thats scary.

Still can’t get used to Rihanna playing the victim card but *shrugs*,what do I know.I just feel like there is alot more to this story that we’ll probably never get to hear. You know what,it doesn’t even matter. The only thing that matters is we all remember that violence is never the answer.

Chris Brown Says – “I’m confused right now”

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

While Rihanna was chatting it up and crying it out on ABC,Chris Brown sat down with MTV and talked to them about his confusion regarding the public’s perception of him after chrianna-gate:

I’m confused right now as far as the public perception…Like, I think with my fans, they still love me, they support me, definitely. You have those people who will support you. So it’s kinda like 50/50 for me. I got the people that will come out and support and then the people that don’t wanna see me do anything. They basically want me in jail.

I understand there are consequences for every action but you know what,I think this boy has apologised enough and we all need to just give him a break, maybe people will actually cut him some slack if he does a few PSAs about domestic violence..*shrugs* its worked for other celebrities.

Rihanna is finally talking

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

You know what I hate about celebrities?
When you need them to speak up and out against something, they don’t.
When they have a product they want you to buy, they miraculously find their voices and suddenly want to blabber to anyone who is willing to listen,or to anyone who is desperate for ratings.
Case in point is Rihanna.

When the whole Chrianna-gate incident went down earlier this year, everyone wanted to hear from her..not necessarily her side of the incident but everyone wanted her to bring awareness to domestic violence but she chose to shut her mouth. And now that she has an album to promote, she’s suddenly going on TV and talking about the incident.
Hey Rihanna..you had months..months woman to discuss this ish and you chose not to so let it go.
That said,I’d be lying if I said I wont be watching on Thursday and Friday when she sits down with Diane Sawyer to give her side of the story.
