Late yesterday Chris Brown deleted his twitter account.I’d advice all celebrities to do the same.Go back to the days when your publicists and attorneys did all your talking and dirty work for you,thats why you cut them those huge cheques!
Up until now I’ve been feeling sorry for Chris Brown because it seemed like the dude was truly sorry for rihannagate and was doing everything he possibly could to get his career back on track but over the weekend he had a meltdown on twitter (google it,I’m not reposting it here) claiming his CD was being black balled and basically telling the industry to kiss his tush.The sad part is if only he had done his homework first,he would have discovered that his CD wasn’t really black balled but it had sold out in that particular store…and thats a good thing,a very good thing!
Say what you will about Chris Brown but don’t call the guy a quitter.
After rihannagate and the less than impressive sales of his album,you’d think that he’d crawl into a hole somewhere and cry his eyes out but nope,Chris Brown is out there hustling on a Fan Appreciation Tour which has surprisingly sold out in most places.
Don’t get it twisted though,he is still facing resistance from a few people but the guy is not giving up.Ever the optimist,Chris Brown told MTV News:
I think people just try to throw out that negative stuff to keep the cycle going…. Everybody just needs to be positive….Being able to go onstage and see the whole crowd packed and the love from my fans has been incredible……I think it’s only evil trying to bring us down…..If we stay positive [then] nothing can get in the way of that
Speaking of Good Morning America,I hear they cancelled Chris Brown’s appearance on their show.They instead pushed him to 20/20.I love the GMA crew but GMA and ABC are really starting to get on my nerves.First they cancelled the Adam Lambert performance,now Chris Brown…who made them the new hall monitors of High Morals Middle School?
Its a good thing Chris Brown was no where near Rihanna this weekend when she was spotted out and about with a huge knot on her head.No word as to how she got that knot.She was probably doing something kinky *shrugs* I don’t really care.
BTW Rihanna describes her new album as “dark, edgy and fearless”.Since I’m neither dark,edgy or fearless,I guess I wont be picking up her new album but if you can relate to any one of those words,then make sure you get in line for Rated R on Nov 23.
